Traffic Lab is an experimental simulation and planning sandbox. It is not an official government model, certified transport model, engineering design tool, environmental assessment, legal opinion, procurement estimate, safety audit or construction plan.
Outputs are approximate and may be wrong, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for a particular location. The model currently simplifies or omits many factors, including detailed origin-destination demand, signal-controller plans, intersection geometry, pedestrian behavior, crash history, construction staging, land title, utilities, drainage, geotechnical conditions, emissions inventories, political feasibility and agency approvals.
Do not rely on Traffic Lab as the sole basis for public claims, investments, tenders, land acquisition, safety conclusions, engineering designs or policy decisions. Consult qualified professionals and official datasets before taking action.
